Hands down and without a doubt the best donut spot in all of Michigan. So yummy, soft and fresh daily. If you haven’t been to Dutch Girl Donuts, do yourself & your spirit a favor and go!

The doughnuts are delicious and somewhat light and soft. You can eat three without a problem. The prices are pretty good too. The area isn't the best but you probably already knew that and the shop could use a little updating.

I would give this place five stars, but optically it's challenge. That being said the pastries there are awesome!! Donuts are on point taste as good as Krispy Kreme.

Just a good ol' fashioned, family-operated donut shop. No real fancy pastries; just real good donuts and coffee.

Love Dutch Girl, go here instead of a big chain corporation and support local business. A plus, their hours are fantastic for a nearly every hour donuts craving!

WOW! Just...wow. I just stopped at this place for my first time last night to pick up some paczki. I am truly amazed. At 9:30pm they were still pulling fresh donuts out of the fryer and let me tell you, they are really delicious! I am most impressed by the custard filling, which is my go-to whenever I get a donut anywhere. Every time I've ever had custard before, it basically has the texture and taste of vanilla pudding, maybe a little thicker. Dutch Girl Donuts must make their own, judging by the quality. It's quite a bit richer/thicker and just a little less sweet. It is so good. This place really is something special!

This place is a Family Favorite. I always try to get at least two Blueberry Buttermilk Donuts when I go... Shhh. Don't tell anybody. 😋 THE Best! My Dad's favorite are the Raised Raisins Variety.

2019 food tour of Detroit and was interested to find that donuts are a Detroit food you must try. That’s when I found DGD, the best doughnuts I’ve found in the U.S. Perfect frosting that was sweet and crispy with a unique softness.and the dough is the literal definition of levitation. Must get a dozen or you have failed. 9.3 I work on a 10 point scale!

So yummy. I am not a fan of red velvet, but their donut holes are AMAZING. Everything is tasty. Super cheap. If you can get past the people wanting your money outside of the shop, you won't be disappointed you went there.

This place is iconic!!! I grew up going to get these donuts. I used to know the times they cooked them. I have lost track of the times. I live a good hour away now. It would be good it they answered the phone during normal business hours to address questions from customers. They must realize that every patron isn’t from the area. Please answer your phone!!!!!!! Other than that!!! Get your DONUTS HERE!!!

There is not a better donut that I've had. Not Dunkin, not Krispy not Tim Hortons. Dutch girl has it down! They're small but full of flavor and they're made fresh. In fact, you can watch them make it. It is a small place and not the easiest to notice from traffic. I come all the way from Hall road and 94 just to get my donuts from here and yes it's worth it! The staff is friendly and professional and the place is clean as far as I can see and tell. This truly is a secret Detroit gem... why do I say its secret? Because I have yet to find anyone outside of Detroit who has heard of the place. (Sorry but my children damaged the donuts while in the car)

Great place to get Donuts! It actually caught me by surprise of how simple it is... you just walk in and order Donuts ...there's no price break if you order a dozen or more they all cost a dollar and if I'm wrong because I was more focused on my kids who were waiting for me in the car.. I know it sounds terrible but I was only in the store for 2 minutes and to be quite honest they were safer in the car and not because of the area ...but really because donut Girls is on a busy stretch of Woodward and I had to park on the street...they were more likely to get hit by a car then messed with by the homeless guy on the corner I gave $2 to ...either way I recommend this place I like the classic way they make the donuts.

They changed the price of the donuts. 33% increase. Now they sell tiny donuts for $1 each. Not going back for these pitiful things.

I was in town visiting a friend, we started our day stopping by Dutch Girl Donuts for coffee and, yes a dozen donuts. Now I'm neither a big sweets or regular donut person but I was informed that I absolutely had to try these. These donuts are seriously delicious! Those red velvet holes!? WOW! I had a difficult time stopping eating em. Everything we got was incredible.The other thing that impressed me was the staff. First I've never been in a donut shop with bullet proof glass. Now that could be a little crazy, but the ladies that served us were genuinely concerned with making each person's visit a positive one, full of smiles and kind words. Surrounded by a neighborhood that's obviously struggling, Dutch Girl Donuts stands out as a welcoming beacon.

Nothing bad to say except I cnt remember the times/days they're open or closed. Lol. Its already a legendary destination in Detroit anf when they are cooking the doughnuts its even better.

Good donuts everyone should try this place and there not high with the prices but you gotta catch them when their open

My husband and I made our first trip to Dutch Girl a few days ago while visiting from out of town...today we went back for more to bring back home with us! Hands down the best donuts I’ve ever eaten! Super fresh, excellent variety, fast and friendly service. I love the quaint vintage charm of this little place, and look forward to coming back next time we’re in town!

There is NOTHING like Dutch Girl. If you are lucky to get hot donuts you will never eat at any other donut place on Earth. Fresh made every day so you are always getting the best possible donut. They've got coffee too, although I can't speak to it's flavor profile.

Memories alone are worth five stars, have never and I mean never found a better french crueller. Haven't been here since around 1982 and can still taste them. Do yourself a favor forget Dunkin donuts and all the other wannabes. Your taste buds will thank you.

Standard donut shop but the quality of the donuts is superb. I got donuts late at night, close to a whole day after they were made and they were STILL excellent - very fresh. Most donuts get stale within a day, but not these. I took some to set aside and tried then three days later and they were still very good, although not as good as the day I got them, but that's too be expected. They make French cruller style donuts and those are definitely my favorite. The pastry cream and lemon filled donuts are also excellent.

Best...donuts...EVER! Need I say more?! I've been eating these donuts since I was a little girl when my Dad used to bring them home on Saturday mornings. Biting into one takes me back to my childhood. My favorite is the cinnamon raisin donut but grab any of them and you won't be disappointed.

This place right here is nothing more than AMAZING!! it has NEVER disappointed me for my sweet tooth 😂..keep up the great work! The ladies behind the counter is always polite and straight forward.

I was here for Packzi Day (Fat Tuesday) so there was a wait, but it passed quickly (about 20 minutes).The Packzi didn't disappoint: they were warm and delicious. They aren't cheap: they cost $2 each, or $10/ half dozen ( one dozen is $20) but they take credit cards.

They are always fresh, made while you wait sometimes.

By far the best and most legendary donut shop in the city of Detroit. The donut holes (plain or red velvet) are amazing. Althiugh my favorites are thr cinnamon rolls. Never had a better cinnamon roll than here. 24 hours except for being closed on Sundays.

Their Donuts are out of this world. The service could use a little boost though. So popular they're usually packed when I go there. They are definitely worth the wait!
